While fluorescent tubes dominated illuminated advertising a few years ago, today it is mainly the smaller and more energy-efficient LEDs that are in use. This has increased the demands on illuminated advertising materials: After all, only the right combination of illuminant and surrounding material results in efficient illuminated advertising installations. PLEXIGLAS® scatters the strong point light of the LEDs so evenly that undesirable differences in brightness, so-called hot spots, are largely avoided even in relatively compact designs.

We offer various products for edge or backlighting in our PLEXIGLAS® online store, including the color-changing material PLEXIGLAS® LED for backlighting Black & White 7H25 GT and the optimized variant PLEXIGLAS® LED Black & White 9H001. The latter is also suitable for the latest generation of higher-intensity LEDs. PLEXIGLAS® LED for backlighting WH52 Pure White is perfect for illuminated advertising and for illuminated walls in store and trade show construction that need to make a very white impression in daylight. Backlit with LEDs, these advertising materials then shine powerfully in the color of the LEDs.
